Architecture and beach are fine but for our guests to have moments of joy, encounters with our world here, to leave us fulfilled, it is the "us" in the resort that makes it happen.

We know that it is our smile and our greeting, "Good Morning, Mrs. Alva, how was the canyoneering trip yesterday?", that gives our Caribbean beach front resort more than just ocean, even if it is the Caribbean.
We know what goes on. We talk with each other.
Xiomara, Housekeeper of Cliffside hotel rooms:
Xiomara has been with us for just a year. She moved back to Puerto Rico from the States, Allentown, PA. Now she knows that her children will be well educated, well taken care of . She can walk to the resort. The rooms that she looks after are all of course sparkling. That's the easy part for her. It's the aura that she leaves behind as she half closes the draperies that close of the terraces to her rooms. That aura and that smile are what we do as a team.
Yes, she does get to look out from her hotel rooms through a fringe of palm trees to the ocean beyond - the Caribbean ocean that rolls in, but the work is not all views and smiles. There is elbow grease and concern.
Xiomara is taking care of our guests and our team at our Caribbean beachfront hotel - at our Villa Montaña.
