Villa Montaña Beach ResortJeremie, who leads our culinary team, has a distinguished history in the kitchens of the island. His dedication and innovation gave him five restaurants to chef for at El Conquistador and Las Casitas Village, as well as being the banquet chef for the Conquistador Resort.
From there he went on to become the Executive Chef for the Westin Rio Mar Resort Country Club, cheffing for three restaurants. In 2000, he took on the challenge of seven restaurants under the umbrella of Creative Food Concepts .
He then took time off to do some brush up training in France with Paul Bocuse, Gerald Boyer, and Phillipe Legande.
Jeremie was named Caribbean Chef of the Year 1997 -98. He is a member and was a trainer for the National Culinary Team of Puerto Rico from 1997 to 2002. Jeremie was also featured in Gourmet Magazine and in the Great Chefs of the World television program for the Discovery Channel. He is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and was named Rising Star Chef of the XXI Century at the James Bear Awards.
