We have one golf course that is a 15 minute drive up and over the cliff --
This is a public 18-hole golf course in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico - offering an inspiring ocean view. There are broad vistas of the ocean from the lighthouse at the 7th and 8th holes.
Greens fees are $18 with lower prices in the vening and for 9 holes only.
The golf course at Punta Borinquen in Puerto Rico was constructed in 1940 for the US air force personnel stationed at the former Ramey Air Force base.
This 18-hole golf course is located on the northwestern point of Puerto Rico, where the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans intersect. The 55 meter elevation offers breathtaking ocean views and sunsets, which provide a true Caribbean style round golf. Since this Puerto Rico golf course has no lakes to contend with an abundance of sand traps and brisk crosswinds along with fast sloping greens provide golfers with a sincere challenge.
This 18-hole, par-72 course was opened in 1940 for the officers of Fort Ramey. The course is set high on a cliff overlooking the spot where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. There are beautiful views of a lighthouse from the 7th and 8th holes. The course itself is very open with abundant sand traps and a stiff, challenging crosswind. A driving range and practice green are also on-site. Soft-spikes only.
Punta Borinquen Golf Club overlooking the Caribbean plays to a par of 72 and uses three sets of tees varying from 4,908 yards for the women's tees to 6819 yards from the championship tees. A lighthouse is located behind the green on the signature tenth hole, which is a par 5 and from December to March offers the fortunate player an opportunity to see giant whales during their annual migration.
Dwight D. Eisenhower played this course frequently during his command review visits of the Ramey Air Station. During the 60's, Chi Chi Rodriquez visited Punta Borinquen around Christmas and after playing a round of golf he would perform a golf clinic for the military audience, in recognition of his appreciation of George Teale, the Ramey Golf Director, who had helped sponsor Chi Chi in his early days on the PGA Tour.
Puerto Rico's Punta Borinquen Caribbean Golf Club has a history of developing Puerto Rico Island Champions. Jocelyn Rodríguez was the 1999 Junior Boy Champion and Laura Diaz was the 2001 Junior Girl Champion. Amateur champions Miguel Suárez and Mauricio Muñiz who collectively won 7 of 10 Puerto Rico Amateur Championships in the 1990's preceded these junior players.

This inland Puerto Rico golf course was designed by Jack Bender and is now a full 18 holes, located on hilly terrain along Puerto Rico's west coast with panoramic views.
Golfers find themselves in a downhill or uphill lie most of the time, which is what makes the course challenging. Part of a private club, this course is often described as a nine-hole course with the challenge of an 18-hole. Located in Cabo Rojo, about a 45 minutes drive from the Resort.
Located along Puerto Rico's west coast, this Semi-Private club is over 2 1/2 hours from San Juan. It was constructed in 1965 over hilly terrain, which makes the course pretty challenging. Small greens and narrow tree lined fairways are covered in Bermuda Grass. The course has a decent layout with water hazards in play on four holes. The grounds has a spectacular view of the West Coast. You'll find a few of the greens and car paths in need of maintenance.
